Sky1's "A League of Their Own" is a brand new sports panel show to start in Mid-March 2010 and is hosted by James Corden.

Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Sky1 is proud to announce a brand new sports panel that will watch England's number one fan and Gavin and Stacey star JAMES CORDEN referee proceedings. The new format will see Ashes hero and Nottingham Forest fan Stuart Broad and former England footballer and Sky Sports presenter Jamie Redknapp line up as team captains! A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN takes its cue from this perennial sporting obsession and sets two teams of comedians, celebrity sports fans and major league sports starts against each other to see who has the most in-depth sporting knowledge.

To build awareness and cut-through to this particular audience.

How does it work?

Sky 1 & Sky 1 HD, 10 X 30' shows, starts Mid March, Thursday nights at 20:30. Plus repeats on Sky1 and Sky2 and any showings on Sky Anytime, the Video On Demand service that reaches over 1.5m households every month and delivers over 500,000 programme views per week. The sponsor will receive a 15" sponsorship pre-roll credit on this service. Opening & Closing credit: 15 seconds. Break bumpers: 2 x 5 seconds per break. Promos: Logo accreditation on all programme specific trailers that are 20 seconds or greater in length. Online opportunities available as well!
