Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

The Cheltenham Festival 2015 is the biggest race meeting of the National Hunt Racing Season. Friday 13th March is Gold Cup day at The Festival, with attendance reaching full capacity of 70,000 and terrestrial viewing figures reaching 4.8m (8.3% of TV population), Gold Cup Day is one of the biggest days in sport. Currently available is the opportunity to sponsor The Foxhunters. Currently the 5th Race on the card and known as the Foxhunter Steeple Chase Challenge Cup, taking place directly after the Cheltenham Gold Cup and broadcast Live on Channel 4.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Opportunity to build association with one of the UK's foremost sports and increase brand awareness as a result of association with the sport's leading races, horses and individuals. Sponsorship of The Foxhunters Steeple Chase provides superb networking & hospitality solutions across a national footprint of events and a unique environment for entertaining existing and prospective customers.

The Foxhunters is an iconic trophy - the biggest of the Festival. Well known for being the Amateurs Gold Cup, this race is the highlight of the season for the Hunter Chase contenders.
