Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

This sponsorship offers a brand the chance to gain a presence with the UK's largest independent art house cinema chain on multiple platforms including print, on screen, on line and within the cinema foyer. The package includes sponsorship of Picturehouse Recommends magazine, which sits at the heart of the Picturehouse circuit and is used to promote films they consider to be the best releases of the quarter. The sponsorships offers association with every 'recommended film' through trailers, film previews and screenings, as well as off screen and online opportunities.

What is the Marketing Objective?

The circuit benefits from a slightly older more affluent audience than the cinema average, so the sponsorship would suit a brand trying to gain brand awareness, recognition or film association with the audience of the countries leading and most respected independent cinema chain.

How does it work?

The sponsorship works by following the life-cycle of the films that feature in the magazine. Beyond sponsoring the magazine, your brand would receive a 5 second bumper attached to the front of the film's trailer, a 30 second advert whenever the film is played out ( est. 2,230,694 yearly admissions) and solus advertising in front of all members' previews. Picturehouse is a circuit made up of 18 cinemas nationwide, and as a result of its programming, attracts a more upmarket and affluent audience. As well as being cinemas, many sites include bars, restaurants etc.
