Sky Media are seeking a brand to become the exclusive of England Test Match cricket in 2011

Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Sky Sports HD is the definitive broadcaster of domestic and international cricket, showing coverage from all over the globe this year and next. England will begin the international season by taking on Sri Lanka in three npower Tests, including the first Test to be staged at the Rose Bowl. India will then take on their hosts in a four-match npower Test series ahead of NatWest International T20s later on. Sky Sports HD follows both teams as they provide a challenge for England in the shorter forms of the game in what will promise to be a highly competitive summer of cricket.

What is the Marketing Objective?

An excellent opportunity to build brand awareness through targeting an audience of cricket enthusiasts.

How does it work?

The event will be broadcast across the Sky Sports Network, 1, 2, 3, 4, HD1, HD2, HD3 and HD4, kicking off with the1st npower test on the 26th of May 2011 V Sri Lanka in Cardiff. Sponsorship will include Highlights and/or Repeat programming, with Live coverage from 10:30 - 6:30 per day; with 2 hour highlights programmes broadcast later the same evening and again the following morning. Previous Sky Sports coverage sponsors have included Gillette, Ford, Bet 365 and Sure for Men.
