Opportunity to sponsor Sky Sports' live coverage of the brand new 40 over 2011 Clydesdale Bank 40 tournament.

Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

The format lwill consist of three groups of seven teams, with the sides playing each other at home and away. Group winners and the best second placed team will qualify for the semi-finals, with the final taking place at Lord's on September 17th! Reigning champions Warwickshire have been drawn alongside Hampshire, Durham, Northamptonshire, Surrey, Leicestershire and Scotland in this year's eagerly awaited tournament! Can the Bears, who beat Somerset under the floodlights at Lord's to take last year's title? Sky Sports cricket fans will be the first to find out.

What is the Marketing Objective?

The marketing objective is to gain brand awareness and create brand attitude. Overall promotion of the tournament is necessary, and this can be vitally aided with the right sponsorship of the coverage.

How does it work?

Sky Sports will show live and exclusive coverage of the Clydesdale Bank 40, with 27 games, 2 semi-finals and the final - a total of 30 live matches in total. To be shown across the Sky Sports Network channels 1, 2, 3, 4, HD1, HD2, HD3; Live coverage between 13:30 - 20:00 (Day) and 16:30-23:00 (Day/Night); Total Accreditation (per full day): 2 x 15 second opening/closing credits; 30 x 5 second full screen break bumpers 20 x 5 second logo break bumpers.

Features / Benefits

Opening and closing credits: The sponsor will be featured both visually and verbally in a title sequence lasting up to 15 seconds. Logo break-bumper only (commercial break less than 30 seconds): The sponsor will be featured in the corner of the screen (information bar) for approximately 5 seconds. This will occur during live play between overs. Full screen break-bumpers (commercial break more than 40 seconds): The sponsor will get a 5 second full screen break-bumper on both entering and leaving the commercial break.
