Today's 'Super Youth' consumers are virtually indistinguishable from people within the traditional 15-24 youth demographic. They experienced the cult youth movements of the 80's and 90's and remain passionate about style, music and fashion. Bauer Insight's latest research has discovered an exciting group of 20/30 something consumers called 'Super Youth' who prove that the rules of youth marketing can apply far beyond the age of 24.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Back in 1995 the celebrated ROAR survey had its first encounter with the UK's 15-24 youth market. Almost a decade later Bauer Insight revisits this generation of consumers as they enter their late 20s and 30s.

Our analysis of this research has broken down the UK's Super Youth into four different groups -Black Collar Workers -Cool Career Girls -Fun Lovin' Mums -Hometown Heroes

Cool Career Girls: 10.3% of 25-39 population - 985,000 women 72% 25-34 77% ABC1 61% have kids. Black Collar Workers: 12.8% of the 25-39 population - 1,224,000 men 74% 25-34 83% ABC1 46% have kids. Fun Lovin' Mums: 11.5% of the 25-39 population - 1.1 million women 86% 30-39 82% C1C2 85% have kids. Home Town Heroes: 12.4% of the 25-39 population - 1,182,000 men 71% aged 25-34 88% C1C2 57% have kids.
