Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

To gain real insight into our listeners and their travel habits we questioned 2100 LBC, Galaxy, Real Radio and Smooth 2100 listeners aged 15+. Their resonses have given insight into; frequency of holidays, choice of destinations, types of holiday, the booking process amongst other findings. A must read for all working in the travel sector.

How does it work?

The survey was sent out to the VIP listener database for the Galaxy Network, and via the website for LBC 97.3 in London, and the Real Radio stations in Wales, Yorkshire, Scotland, and Smooth in London and Manchester. The listeners were incentivised to answer the questions . The results were then tabulated and checked by our Research team and trends were analysed.

The information from this survey has been useful for all kinds of advertisers in the travel sector, ranging from; specialist to online to traditional travel companies.
