What was your first job?

First media job – Planner/Buyer @ Carat Business

What made you want to pursue a career in this industry?

Business & Marketing degree, always had interest in branding especially some of the ionic outdoor campaigns for cigarettes, the economist and Wonderbra!

What is your favourite media/marketing resource?

Speaking to people!

What is your favourite media/marketing campaign to date?

The iconic Wayne Rooney St George campaign for Nike (2006). This was a brilliant example of how great creative can engage and connect emotionally with audiences, delivering full impact.

If you didn’t work in this industry, what do you think you’d be doing?

Working in a bike shop

What is the best piece career advice you’ve ever received?

Don’t .... on your own doorstep!!  

Tell us something interesting about yourself.

 This year so far I have logged 45 runs, totalling 407km on a time of 41 hours 28 minutes...and I am still overweight.

Over the past 20 years, how have you seen blowUP Media adapt to move with the changes and growth in Outdoor?

blowUP’s portfolio is constantly evolving & we strive to deliver new audiences that have always been hard to reach.

What’s your favourite restaurant?

My local pub in Twickenham – good beer, good wine, good food and good atmosphere!

What piece of technology could you not live without?

Lots – Mobile , Sky+, my bike and my motorcycle!

What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced in your current role?

Considering we are not on route as yet, initially we faced a challenge finding up to date audience data. However we have been able to overcome this using social media and mobile optimization tools.

In your opinion, what would you say is the main reason blowUP Media has experienced sustained success?

BlowUP is committed to developing the best sites, whether it be a giant poster or a digital screen.

What does the future hold for blowUP Media?

We will continue to grow by placing our sites where brands can reach their audiences most effectively and also continue through high quality site delivery.
