Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

As the official visitor organisation for the capital, Visit London promotes and markets London internationally and domestically. We communicate value and diversity messages to international audiences, we will create two bespoke printed pieces. Focussing on core product sectors like: museums, galleries, restaurant and retailers, the guide will be inserted into the London Planner - a Visit London-endorsed publication with a circulation of over 125k a month. Extensive online and PR support will maximise cut-through.

What is the Marketing Objective?

1. Exposure the Totally London and sponsors brand to an international and domestic visitor audience; 2. To market and promote product sectors in London to visitors in innovative ways; 3. Give consumers and visitors to London better acess to information; 4. Engage with London tourism businesses and offer opportunities for collaboration.

How does it work?

Each of the seasonal guides will be an 8-page gatefold insert positioned in the London Planner - a publication endorsed by Visit London. The guides will feature top suggestions on what to do in London during the winter and spring months. We will look to run a competition linked to the guide which offers the chance for data capture and marketing effect evaluation.

Who's used it in the past?

Last year, Global Refund sponsored the Shop London campaign. Similar in design, the Shop London activity focussed primarily on retail. The advantage of working with Visit London was the opportunity to be the exclusive sponsor of the activity and drive further awareness of their brand with visitors prior to arrival.
