Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

The Brit Oval, home to Surrey County Cricket Club, is one of the most renowned and historic venues in world sport. Surrey Cricket is committed to bringing the game of cricket to as many people as possible. Our community initiatives look to offer both educational and social inclusion programmes as well as bring cricket to children who may not have been exposed to the game before.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Through the community programmes Surrey County Cricket Club has introducing thousands of children to the social and lifestyle benefits that cricket can bring and sponsorship of this area would have a strong CSR element to it. Our community programme currently targets 7,000 children, young people and adults whilst grassroots initiatives are aimed at the 450 cricket clubs in the county of Surrey.

How does it work?

Depending on the level of involvement a sponsor of Surrey's community and grassroots programmes would received acknowledged on all printed materials as well as the sponsors logos appearing on coaches clothing and branding around the community facilities. The sponsor would also receive perimeter branding at the Brit Oval cricket ground as well as tickets and hospitality at major match days including nPower Test Matches and One Day Internationals. Other benefits can include access to players, signed merchandise and controlled access to our database.

Brands who have used Surrey County Cricket sponsorship packages include Brit Insurance, Drivers Jonas, Connaught, OCS and Pinnacle.
