Taste The Nation puts a spin on the usual TV cook-off format and pits 32 British counties against each other in a knock out competition in a bid to decide which county has the finest chefs in the land. Each region will be represented by a team of 5 led and mentored by a well known celebrity chef who has a close connection with the region. The professional chef will guide their teams "X-Factor" style into the final, where 2 teams will battle it out to lay on a feast to impress the judges. Chefs who have confirmed include Anthony Worrall-Thompson, Ed Bains & John Burton Race.
