Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Centred on the lives and loves of six Manhattan residents; Joey, Monica, Phoebe, Rachel, Ross and Chandler the show represents how laughter and friendship can overcome anything that life throws at you. Friends is one of the most popular sitcoms of all time (the final episode was watched by 51 million people viewers in America alone!) and has won Primetime Emmys, Golden Globes, People?s Choice Awards, Logie Awards, a BAFTA...even a TV Quick Award. Sky Media and Comedy Central are pleased to offer an advertiser the opportunity to sponsor this hugely popular TV series!

What is the Marketing Objective?

Align your brand with one of the most popular sitcoms of all time!

How does it work?

Sponsorship bumpers shall form the main structure of the sponsorship, comprising of the following; an introduction bumper of 10 seconds, a 5 second break bumper introducing the first advert break, a 5 second break bumper introducing part two of the episode and a 10 second bumper to follow the credits. (TBC) The Sponsors logo will be visible on all promos for the Show.

Comedy Central is the only comedy channel in the UK. Since moving to the 2nd page of the Sky EPG on the 1st May, Comedy Central has gone from strength to strength with reach up YOY by 16%, to nearly 17m. 50% of the audience are A1634 (it is currently more Male at 55:45 but Friends is likely to tip the balance in favour of female). The Channel is in the Top 10 most watched Channels amongst ABC1 1634 year olds (Source BARB).
