Opportunity to reach approx 3.7m men through sponsorship of all coverage of the Carling Cup, including the final.

Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Sky Media are seeking a sponsor for all coverage of the Carling Cup, including live action from every round up to and including the final, for the 2009-10 season. Sky Sports & Sky Sports HD will show live action from every round, with a round up programme looking at all the goals and incidents from every game for every round - up to and including the final in February. Manchester United will be looking to defend their title this season following the heroics of Ben Foster in their penalty shoot-out against Tottenham Hotspur last season.

What is the Marketing Objective?

To build awareness of your brand with a captivated audience.

How does it work?

Broadcast sponsorship of c. 15 live live games (including one semi final and the final), sponsorship of Carling Cup Round Highlights - c. 4/5 shows throughout the season repeated 4/5 times later that evening and the following day. The sponsor will receive the following accreditation: 2 x 15 secs opening and closing credits and 8 x 5 secs break bumpers per live match, plus 2 x 15 secs open and closing credits and 6 x 5 secs break bumpers for highlights/repeats.
