An opportunity to sponsor a communal bike hire network (or parts of) in various locations across the UK. Already common elsewhere in Europe, this solution offers a public service underwritten by sponsorship/advertising revenue.

Exposure to countless eyeballs combined with the positive effects of being seen to be providing an environmentally friendly solution to public transport issues.

A network of between 50 to 500+ bikes is created depending on location. Users pre register, and are then able to hire the bikes when needed. Docking stations are anywhere existing bike stands exist and the entire hire process and billing system is via the mobile phone. Advertising is carried on a corex board attached to each bike (see picture). The bikes are used daily, so exposure of branding is constant. The mobile phone operating system also allows sponsor name to appear on each transaction.
