Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Artsworld launched in December 2000 as the UK’s first ever television channel dedicated to the Arts and has evolved in to a multi-media brand which has established itself as The Home of the Arts on Television. Now available to more than 7m homes, Artsworld is targeted at all those who love the arts. Sky have made the channel commercial free instead developing a unique opportunity for a select number of advertisers. The opportunity offers year long branding across multiple platforms and the development of programming to be fully exploited by the sponsor and broadcast on air.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Build brand awareness amongst upmarket adults. Build / reinforce association with the Arts. Drive targeted traffic to web properties. Produce programming for sponsor and deliver full rights package in order that programme can be used for trade marketing, consumer marketing, staff marketing, secondary broadcast rights etc.

How does it work?

Sponsors receive the following across 12 month partnership: Sponsorship credits on programming every day; 312 broadcasts of sponsor’s interstitial programming; access to station continuity announcers to develop arts-orientated commercial / promotional messages. Artsworld will produce programming to launch major arts events in conjunction with and commissioned for sponsors. Sponsor will be able to exploit on DVD, online, on-air and in consumer and trade press. Online: sponsorship and advertising with link to sponsors web properties; editorial integration on Artsworld.tv
