Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Sky Sports is proud to once again have live and exclusive coverage of Masters Football. Featuring some of the best-known names from Britain's leading leagues with stars such as Gianfranco Zola, Ian Rush and Paul Merson.The season consists of 7 tournaments live on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays across the summer, with no less than 42 teams representing the biggest sides in Britain. 2010 marks the 12th anniversary of the Masters Tournament, and Sky Media along with Masters Football are looking for a brand to become both the event and the broadcast sponsor.

What is the Marketing Objective?

An excellent opportunity for a sponsor to build awareness and brand recall

How does it work?

The competition will take place between July and September. The sponsor will receive on-screen sponsorship branding; at the beginning and end of each programme, break bumpers and promotional spots. Plus opportunities with Sky Sports Magazine both editorially, through features and competitions, and commercially, through advertorials and more. Sky Sports website and Enhanced TV opportunities are also available. Title and Associate Event Sposnorships are available. The title sponsor's name will appear in the event title "The Brand X Masters Cup". See attachment for more.

Who's used it in the past?

This is a brand new opportunity, however would benefit drink and confectionery brands.
