Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Emap offer sponsorship/parnership of the largest reader nominated and reader voted Fashion Awards in the UK. More is the biggest selling magazine in Britain that caters for young women, combining the fashion and style of a glossy monthly with a high frequency. The High Street Fashion Awards represent the next step in moving the brand into new avenues as well as strengthening our editorial links with the world of High Street Fashion. The awards show the loyalty of our readers and how they drive the tills of stores across the UK with their buying decisions.

What is the Marketing Objective?

The Awards allow our partners to raise awareness of their brand to our 700,00+ readers, the website’s 60,000 unique users per month and a further 15,000+ subscribers via the active SMS club.

How does it work?

The Awards have a three-month presence within the magazine and also the website, so attached brands have longevity and great association. It also allows the partner brand to garner massive PR attention outside the magazine via the event, which last year was presented by Jonathon Ross.

Who's used it in the past?

The inaugural Awards took place in 2004 and were sponsored by the hair colorant Schwarzkopf Live and seen as such a success they were on board again for the 2005 Awards. Schwarzkopf are also sponsoring the 2006 More High Street Fashion Awards.
