How does it work?

Headline sponsorship of the York Ice Trail gives fantastic brand awareness through logo in our 25,000 printed maps, quotes and involvement in News releases, branding on www.visityork.org. Additionally there are excellent experiential opportunities as the headline sponsor would have a sculpture in a key city centre location where product sampling/competition/data collection can take place.

Who's used it in the past?

Yorkshire Water were the headline sponsor in 2015. Sculpture sponsors included Bettys, York Minster, York Dungeons, English Heritage and The Grand Hotel & Spa 5*. Yorkshire Water used their sponsorship as a way of increasing awareness of their nominated charity Water Aid. Their sculpture was an individually designed Ice Wishing Well where donations were placed throughout the weekend. Attendees loved the idea and a considerable amount of money was raised over the weekend.
