The pre-arrival packs for China & India are a unique opportunity to target 100,000+ students who have secured a place at a UK university. Our exclusive distribution channels (through the British Council in both countries and a select number of education agents) and our timing (April to June) ensures we hit students when they are making their big purchasing decisions and generally getting ready for their move to the UK. GB Mag and GB Bag are distributed to students at the pre-departure briefings and alongside their offer letter from the education agents.

What is the Marketing Objective?

The pre-arrival allows brands to communicate with these students (who are known for their high spend on utilitarian product and services as well as branded and luxury goods and services) whilst they are still at home and not being bombarded by brands. They are also making their big purchasing decisions, so its a perfect time to target them.

How does it work?

A total of 60,000 GB Mags & GB Bag's are distributed in China & India to students that have secured a place at a UK university, at a time when they are making their big purchasing decisions. Our exclusive distribution channels, through our partners including the British Council, reinforce the pre-arrival packs credibility. The packs are distributed at the pre-arrival briefings held by our partners, which includes the British Council in both countries and a select number of education agents, who also distribute our packs alongside university offer letters.
