A new video sharing site for the deaf community - this is a new and dedicated site for deaf community across the world.

Sign-Tube.com launched on 3rd March 2008 and has reached 7 million hits with over 1000 videos viewed daily. Sign-tube.com had received advertising from high profile public bodies. Sign-tube.com is looking for companies to advertise their products and goods via static banner, dynamic banner or logos on the videos see (http://english.2009deaflympics.org). We have a high profile celebrity supporting the event - none other than Jackie Chan; plus Sign-tube.com will send a team to film sport events and communties from 4th September to 15th September 2009.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Sign-tube.com will benefit brands who wish to market Broadband, Mobile Phones, travel companies and sports for example. Over 10,000 deaf people will visit Taipei for Deaflympics 2009 - the second oldest Olympics Games after Olympics (started 1924) and is approved by IOC. see http://www.2009deaflympics.org/en/index.php for info.

Deaf Communities across the world go online very frequently - it is the perfect medium for ease of communication. Previously, there was no one site dedicated to this community. Now, with the launch of Sign-Tube.com, this community can share stories, videos and ideas plus hearing people can learn about sign language as well. Over 6 million in UK are hearing impaired and deaf.

Who's used it in the past?

This is a new opportunity - an untapped market. The site should appeal to brands who are interested in Social Networking sites, and interacting with online communities.We had recently acquired a support from NHS 24 and place their advert about Swine Flu on Sign-Tube.com as the best mean to access their services to the deaf community.
