We are host to a huge community of artists, bands, comedians, podcasters and music & audio lovers. An audio version of YouTube with the social connectivity of Facebook; users can play, save, share and search content, as well as follow other users, creators and musicians. We have two principle audiences: 'Creators' (termed 'audio YouTubers'), who are "16x more influential than the average user" -Nielson and 'Users': those who predominantly consume the platform's content. "66%of SoundClouders are brand conscious and say they love seeking out and sharing new things" - GWI.

What is the Marketing Objective?

SoundCloud offers brands various brand new(and therefore heavily PR-able)advertising and partnership opportunities providing excellent opportunity for brand-audience engagement. An average SoundCloud session lasts 62 minutes, and although we have both desktop & mobile touchpoints, the audience is mainly mobile, reaching > 23% of UK's mobile population -ComScore.
