Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

An on-air text to win competition on film channel TCM, which runs every Thursday night at 9pm, TCMs prime time movie. The sponsorship can run from anything from a month to a year, depending on the sponsors requirements. The on air promo, which runs for a month at least 5 times a day, will be tagged to sponsor with visuals and accreditation. The competition each Thursday will also feature sponsors accreditation. Also promoted online with a dedicated page (av 155k page imp. & 21k unique users p/m) and in the monthly TCM brochure (c.8k)

What is the Marketing Objective?

To increase brand awareness, ratings and number of competition entries.

How does it work?

A TV, print and online broadcast sponsorship of the on-air competition on film channel TCM. Sponsor is linked to competition in all promos and activity. Text to win competition offering a different prize each month. Entries are collated by an independant agency and selected at random at the end of the month. Prizes range from digital cameras, laptops to exclusive premiere tickets. Product placement opportunities available as an add-on to sponsorship through the competition mechanic

The sponsorship is not restricted to the Thursday Night Competition, it is a sponsorship deal that includes online and print media and can be tied into various other on-air highlighted seasons. Opportunity to reach an average 5m viewers per month. Not restricted to any particular length of sponsorship.
