Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

A fantastic opportunity for a brand to become headline sponsor of Chessington Zoo and actively get involved with environmental / conservation initiatives. The zoo has over 1 million guests per year and features over 105 different species including Western Lowland Gorillas, Californian Sea Lions & Sumatran Tigers. Areas within the zoo include Trail of Kings, Sealion Bay, Creepy Caves, Creature Features, Kids Zoo, Monkey / Bird Garden, & the Penguin Pool! Package also includes taking ownership of the Safari Skyway - the monorail system within the park.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Key objective is to raise a brands 'green' credentials. We are looking for a 'green' partner to work on conservation / environmental initiatives and work with us on building a fun educational environment for our +1.2million guests

How does it work?

The package will ultimately be a bespoke package but can include the following elements 1) Signage branding through all areas of the zoo 2) Complete ownership & branding of the Safari Skyway monorail system 3) Experiential Sampling / product roadshows 4) £250,000 value of ticket promotions to run to the public via print / online / TV / radio / cinema and on pack to promote association with Chessington Zoo. 5) Online branding 6) Blue Tooth 7) Retail placement 8) Corporate hospitality / Private use of the zoo 9) Involvement with the Education Centre

This is a Media First opportunity. The sponsorship of the zoo has been developed by the Merlin Entertainment Sponsorship team
