Since 2002 The Mayor of London has held a parade and St Patrick's Day festival in Trafalgar Square. The London St. Patrick's Day Parade has over 5,000 participants comprising of marching bands (from Britain, Ireland and Europe). There is colourful pageantry, street theatre, county associations, the Metropolitan Police & London Fire brigade, sports clubs and over 30 floats. CBS Outdoor are offering the opportunity to partner the Mayor of London in celebrating the fantastic contribution of the Irish community, to London's on-going, economic success.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Market your brand to over 100,000 strong audience of Londoner's & visitors to London. Association with a high profile positive celebration of Irish culture and an opportunity to take your brands St Patrick's Day message across London on bus, LU and through participation in the parade.

How does it work?

As part of the package sponsor will have exclusive rights to sell alcohol on Trafalgar Square from branded area, logo on festival banners at Trafalgar Square on main stage and walls adjacent to main steps. Sponsor's logo will also appear as part of sponsors' loop programme on festival's two electronic screens adjacent to main performance stage and on two plasma screens in the festival VIP area. There is also the opportunity for sponsor to have a float in the parade and sponsor logo will appear on 300 Double Royal poster on the Underground. See attachment for full details.

Features / Benefits

The sponsor will benefit from the opportunity to provide alcohol for the VIP area and 10 tickets for the VIP tent on Trafalgar Square. Sponsor's logo will also feature on St Patrick's day festival ½ page adverts running in the Irish post (5 insertions) and on 6 page flyer (print run 350,000) distributed Underground stations and 350 London Irish bars. Sponsor logo to appear on St Patrick's Day Festival adverts in London Press (Time Out, Camden Journal and Islington Tribune), providing maximum visibility of your brand.
