Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

August - Back to School - Closer commissioned a survey in Nov 2008 to uncover parents' purchasing habits/preferences around Back To School items e.g. uniforms, stationery, lunches etc. We can share this research with you and work together to create a Back To School Guide for Mums and kids e.g. a timetable/planner or mini survival guide including full product range to ensure your child is set for 'Back to School'. The guide will position one high-street retailer as the one-stop shop for back to school purchases for Closer readers.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Drive footfall in-store and increase awareness of full product range.

How does it work?

Back to school timetable planner/checklist 'free for every reader' - A3 double sided poster bound-in mag, including checklist key items, daily timetable of school activities/classes and essential items to be filled in by Mum and Child. Objective to highlight all areas one advertiser can provide items essential to ensuring the child is set for 'Back to School'. A5 12 page bound-in highlighting key products in uniform range. Changing Brand perception by educating Closer readers on value, durability and technology within garments (key influencers highlighted in survey).
