EIFF has positioned itself as a festival of discovery and new talent, seeking out the most daring and diverse new work from around the world without losing its association with red-carpet glamour and mainstream movies.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Sponsorship of The Edinburgh International Film Festival will raise your brand profile amongst a young abc1 audience, and allows association with a 'hip, bright and cheeky' international festival brand. With an attendance of over 50,000, 700 industry delegates, 400 filmmaker guests, 500 accredited press, UK print media coverage worth over £3million and a reach of 43 countries online, EIFF offers unique opportunities to target public filmgoers and the film industry.

How does it work?

EIFF tailors an individual package of benefits for each of our sponsors to capitalise on the exciting atmosphere, red carpet events, international film premieres, filmmaker guests and the wonderful city of Edinburgh. Sponsorship packages include title sponsorship, naming rights of Awards, official partner status, sponsorship of Gala screenings and parties, branding on print and online activity, employee involvement, corporate hospitality and product placement and sampling.
