Rock Pilgrimages on virginradio.co.uk is back by popular demand! Users are able to find famous places around the world associated with bands, like Abbey Road for the Beatles, users are then told why that place is significant to the artist,how to get there,the nearest hotel & so on. This is an opportunity to be the main commercial partner for this very popular feature from Virgin Radio

Sponsors will receive full branding on all Rock Pilgrimages pages, including Microsite with a competition providing data capture, exposure on the virginradio.co.uk homepage, constant presence on the music & freebies frontpage on virginradio.co.uk, links to sponsors homepage.

Who's used it in the past?

Previous brand associations with this have been; Travelodge, so with each pilgrimage around the UK the site told them where to find the nearest Travelodge to stay in when they go on their pilgrimage. Also Expedia have recently had an association, running an on-air/on-line promotion. They wanted people to be inspired to take one of their global trips to one of the top 10 pilgrimages submitted by Virgin Radio DJ's. Users also had the opportunity to enter their own pilgrimage and the best submission go to go through with it thanks to Expedia.

Not only will they receive full branding on all Rock Pilgrimages pages, you can have features like 'Plan your journey with...' where users can plan their own flights & hotels for their own pilgrimages.
