Opportunity to use Bluetooth technology to reach Vue cinema goers of all ages with Pearl and Dean. Bluetooth technology can be used as an efficient and unique way of distributing money-off vouchers, brand messages, trailers and wallpapers direct to mobile phones. Customers can then engage with the specific content they chose and download elements they want, i.e. Trailer or wallpapers.
 
How does it work?
Customers of Vue cinemas are sent a prompt from the destination NOT an advertiser. Customers will trust a prompt from the destination, as they are already in that environment to spend their precious leisure time and money. Once accepted a message stating all content is FREE is delivered to reassure the customer. The destination branded menu system is loaded & customers are free to choose the content appropriate to them.
 
Who's used it in the past?
Previous advertisers include Sony, Xbox360, COI: RAF, Channel 5, New Look retail amongst other. The COI Raf campaign ran in 10 Vue cinemas for 2 weeks with a downloadable 'recruitment trailer'. The campaign achieved 22,779 unique downloads plus an extra 7,779 downloads at no extra cost to the COI. The Channel 5 Minder campaign ran for 7 weeks with a multi-content menu page with 3 downloads & ringtone purchase. The campaign achieved 1.3 million unique file downloads and was the most successful new series launch to date for C5.
