Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Sports for Schools run Team GB Olympic & Paralympic athlete-led activity events to inspire kids to do more sport and help schools raise money for PE equipment in schools (over £1.6m raised to date), plus it provides financial support for Team GB athletes. We're seeking partners to align with Sports For Schools, to tailor meaningful and engaging sponsorships,which deliver mutual benefits.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Sponsors will be able to build awareness among kids and parents. As well as this sponsors will benefit from CSR and community awareness by aligning their brand with inspired school kids and Team GB.

How does it work?

Visiting over 1,300 State & Private Primary Schools in the UK each year (over 350,000 children participate per year) we bring a Team GB athlete and our Sportivaters (our event hosts) to run a fitness circuit at the school. Before the event we send the school an 'Event Kit' with tools to; promote the event, outline how the day will run, give ideas on ways to motivate the children, profile the athlete who be visiting and give a guide on how to raise funds for their fitness circuit.

Team GB participating athletes include: Amy Smith (GB Swimmer and Olympian), Jenna Downing (GB Inline Skater), Alistair Patrick Heselton (GB Paralympic Football player), Craig McCann (GB Paralympic Fencer), Becky Downie (Olympic Gymnast), Danny Lawrence (GB International Gymnast), Luke Lennon-Ford (400m Olympic sprinter).
