Toucan devised a campaign to drive sales of new Organics Kettle Chips using a cross-brand promotion with Grolsch Beer.
What was the Challenge / Background of the Campaign?
Toucan is an independent Brand Activation and Shopper Marketing agency. We specialise in creating engaging, idea driven campaigns for FMCG clients which will get that all important sale. Kettle Foods asked us to come up with an innovative campaign to increase sales of their new Organics crisps.
What was the Campaign Objective?
The objective of the campaign was to increase sales of Kettle chips by achieving additional siting away from fixture.
What was the Solution?
We developed a relationship with a complementary high profile partner with a similar brand positioning. We then created a link-save activity - a free bag of Kettle Chips Organics with a 4-pack of Grolsch purchase. This was sited in the BWS category on freestanding pallet units.
What were the Results?
Kettle Chips Organic gained additional impulse sales at full RSP and both brands achieved over 100% increase in sales.
