Much-loved brand seeking like-minded partner to make magic happen Valentine's Day 2017.

Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Penguin is offering brands the chance to make a storybook match in a Valentine's Day partnership. Drawing on previous successful Valentine's Day promotions, a joint operation for 2016 could couple anything from branded books with bespoke messaging to event team-ups, competitions, media giveaways and promotional campaigns. Penguin products attract consumers in all shapes and sizes. Our love collection includes everything from current popular fiction to romance classic and must haves like The Little Book of Love. Whatever your target customer, we have a book to engage with.

What is the Marketing Objective?

To catch the eye of your target market in an original way. Books provide a long lasting message with tangible value. Using books is a unique and creative way to promote your brand message and connect with your key consumers. There are many possibilities to utilise the format whilst drawing on the reputation of Penguin books and our associate brands to promote your brand's story and campaign pretext. Valentine's Day provides the perfect opportunity to create such a partnership.

How does it work?

Penguin's collection can be used in conjunction with your brand to celebrate Valentine's Day, whether in retail promotion, as corporate gifts, for competitions, events, subscriptions, loyalty rewards and any other suitable opportunity. We can create special editions of Penguin titles for your brand to use to your objectives and are able to print and deliver existing books to wherever needed with short lead times. We are happy to explore partnering on Valentines themed events and look at promotional opportunities with with national and regional media and magazines.

Who's used it in the past?

Last Valentine's Day, Penguin teamed up with St Pancras International at an event featuring lastminute.com to 'share the love' by offering customers interactive chances to win a copy of The Fault In Our Stars - promoting the forthcoming film via a unique 'platform'. We created bespoke products for the likes of Louis Vuitton, Bentley, Smirnoff, The National Trust and Ask Italian. We have worked on partnerships where our books were redeemed with a voucher and enjoyed children's fiction promotions including an award winning on-pack token collect promotion with McCain's Smiles.
